Alarm-top
I’ve received an alarm clock top via the corporate-spam recently. Looks funny… Here it is:
Sfera is a radio alarm clock which hangs above your bed and wakes you in the morning by forcing you physically to get out of bed. When you set the alarm, the glowing Sfera gradually dims and the music gently fades out as you drift off to sleep. When the alarm chimes in the morning, the only way to silence it is to reach up and gently tap the Sfera. This action initiates the snooze function, but it also makes the Sfera rise above your head towards the ceiling. As it slowly rises away from your reach, you must stretch higher each time to gain another ten minutes of snooze. When it reaches the ceiling, you have no option but to reach for it and drag it back down to your bed – an action which switches off the alarm and forces you finally to get up.
It wakes you up by firing four puzzle pieces up in the air, and then it is your task to get the pieces and put them back in the alarm clock - it won’t turn off until then.
To stop his incessant wake-up calls, you get to (and this is the best part!) literally wring your alarm clock’s neck!
This clock features a choice of loud tones, a flashing strobe, or vibrating pad to alert you when the alarm signals or when the phone rings!
Tone control offers 95 dB ring level volume intensity. Flashing strobe light breaks through sleep to wake you up. Vibrating pad can be positioned under your pillow or mattress for a sturdy nudge out of bed.
When the alarm goes on, it rumbles intensely, making it a little harder to find the off-button. Due to the rumbling, the clock also bounces away from the origin, thus creating another challenge of getting out of bed and chasing it around the room.
Set its alarm and then be greeted every morning by your Kuku Alarm Clock laying eggs…and because it won’t stop chirping until you’ve returned its eggs, this clock will not only wake you up, but keep you up. Just imagine how difficult it’d be trying to return to your slumber after crawling around the floor and looking under your bed, sheets or pillows for each and every last egg.
After a bugle plays “Reveille,” your personal drill sergeant clears the cobwebs from your brain with an inspiring round of orders you can’t fail to obey.
The alarm clock blowfly works like a “blowfly” that at the desire time it escapes from a cage in your room. It starts moving and producing sound around you - to turn it off you should catch it and put it back in the cage.
2. Sonic Alarm
Getting that grumbling snuffling bulk out from under the duvet in the morning is a challenge you really shouldn’t have to bother yourself with. Especially as the thing that emerges is inevitably grumpy and looks like a hung-over swamp monster. Well the Sonic Alarm makes the whole ‘getting them out of bed’ exercise a very simple, and indeed amusing, operation. Looking like an old-fashioned comedy hand grenade, the Sonic Alarm will wake pretty well anything up. Simply pull the pin, yell an emphatic “fire in the hole” and lob the grenade into the sleeper’s room. After twenty seconds a very annoying and piercingly loud noise (there are three volume settings) will blast out from the alarm. That’s not all however, what makes this especially great is that to stop the alarm the sleeper has to find you so you can put the pin back in. It’s stupid, and brilliant, and will be the bane of every over-sleeper on the planet. Parents are going to love this, though the soon to be rudely awoken might not.
Clocky™ is an alarm clock that runs away and hides if you don’t get out of bed on time. The alarm sounds, you press the snooze, and Clocky will roll off of the bedside table, fall to the floor, and wheel away, bumping mindlessly into objects until he finds a spot to rest. When the alarm sounds again, you must awaken to search for him. Clocky will find new spots everyday, kind of like a hide-and-seek game.
